Improving the quality of life for our patients
Treating the Tired Toxic Body
Is Your Illness All in Your Head?
Many patients we meet for the first time are frustrated. They don’t feel well, and this impacts the quality of their daily life. Traditional medicine has not brought the relief they desperately seek. Generally speaking, the patient has seen numerous doctors, but test results always come back normal. Some patients are told they are simply getting older. Others are told that psychosomatic illness may be the cause.
Is this how you feel? Have doctors told you “it’s all in your head”?
If you suffer from:
• Fatigue
• Insomnia
• Low libido
• Allergic reactions
• Headaches
• Gastrointestinal symptoms…
…and a host of other unexplained, but unpleasant or painful symptoms traditional medicine simply can’t explain, it’s time to take a more in-depth look at your health problems.
Broad-based symptoms like fatigue and insomnia are a sign that something is not right. Your biochemistry is not functioning optimally. To find out what is going wrong, however, more sophisticated testing is needed to determine the cause of your undiagnosed symptoms. In most cases, it comes down to two possibilities:
1. Your body needs something it is not getting
2. Your body is reacting to toxins that must be removed
Environmental illnesses are treated most effectively by addressing the causes, not just the symptoms, as is so often the case with traditional medicine.
At Northwest Healthcare and Wellness Center, our focus is on you. All of you. Our commitment to the treatment and prevention of chronic diseases uses an Integrative Medicine approach, combining the best of traditional and complementary medicines.
Many common illnesses share a similar pathway, including:
• Chronic fatigue
• Multiple chemical sensitivities
• Alzheimer’s
• Fibromyalgia
• Gulf War Syndrome
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Autism
• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
These disorders and others share a high degree of oxidative stress, along with abnormal toxin screens. Treatment for these disorders can be complex, combining such treatments as:
• Detoxification
• Aggressive upregulation of the immune system
• Support of the body’s defense systems
• IV therapy with antioxidants
The goal of our treatments is to use an integrative approach to reduce or eliminate the stressors, nutritional deficiencies and toxification that are the underlying cause of many common diseases.
